Tackle Bring Your Own Device with Mobile Device Management Solution MaaS360

By , TMCnet Web Editor

Bring your own device (BYOD) is more common than not in today’s workforce. Eighty-one percent of employees use a personal electronic device for work-related functions, and 46 percent of employees that use a personal device for work have let someone else use it. The security concerns and threats that come with BYOD are only increasing if companies do not adopt a solution to face them.

According to Internet security firm Eset, 66 percent of employees who use a personal device for work say their organization has not yet implemented a BYOD policy. The key to tackling this trend is with a mobile device management solution.

To demonstrate how to manage and secure mobile apps, documents and devices, Fiberlink is hosting a live, interactive session on its mobile device management solution, MaaS360.

Fiberlink's MaaS360 shows companies the devices that are connecting to their corporate resources, and monitors passcode compliance, roaming status and more. It allows IT to differentiate between devices that were provided by the company and those brought from home. It also lets IT perform actions such as passcode reset, remote wipe, send a message and more.

Enterprise mobility is more than just mobile device management – it’s about app distribution, security and management, sharing and securing content on smartphones and tablets, fast deployment and easy management so end-users and IT can spend time getting down to business. MaaS360 offers a solution that enables all of those capabilities.

MaaS360 provides enterprises with a comprehensive cloud-based MDM solution to securely manage both corporate and personal devices, distribute mobile applications, and share documents. With a secure MDM solution, enterprises can improve their bottom line by reducing the cost of supporting mobile workers, simplifying IT management and streamlining regulatory compliance.

In the upcoming webinar, attendees will learn how to manage security policies for BYOD and corporate devices, distribute and secure mobile applications and documents, separate and protect sensitive corporate data on mobile devices and leverage the cloud for speed, simplicity and security.

Join John Nielson, senior product manager at Fiberlink, for a live demonstration of MaaS360 followed by a question and answer session. Register now!
